Direct Digital Controls Maximize Efficiency
Automating the heat and cooling of a building is one of
the surest ways to improve comfort while reducing energy
consumption. At Comfort Air, we “Design & Build”
advanced systems that integrate and network a building’s
mechanical systems to control energy use, heating,
ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, and card access

The sensors monitor owner-selected parameters such as
equipment status and alarms, occupied/unoccupied conditions,
equipment and building temperatures, humidity and carbon
dioxide levels. Controllers process this information and
initiate control sequences, alarms, reports, and
notifications based on owner and contractor selected
responses. The systems used by Comfort Air have the option
of being connected on a LAN system and remotely access
through he owner’s intranet with a graphics interface
package.
Vendor’s equipment can be connected to the DDC systems
provided by Comfort Air. The systems used by Comfort Air
support vendor interfaces through Lonworks, Bacnet, and
Johnson’s N2 protocol. This allows Comfort Air to select
the “best-of breed” control systems and manufacturer’s
equipment for each project resulting in seamless state of
the art DDC system operation and monitoring.
The cost benefits of direct digital control are significant.
Unnecessary manpower and wasted energy costs can quickly add
up to thousands of dollars, directly affecting a company’s
bottom line. Comfort Air offers intelligent and affordable
solutions that increase comfort and improve productivity.
